By purchasing, or following these instructions, you are agreeing to the terms of use, the privacy policy and that you are aware rFactor 2 is an unfinished product at the time of your purchase. Before purchasing, please ensure your computer meets the minimum system requirements below: MINIMUM: CPU: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 or 2.4 GHz AMD Athlon x2 Memory: 2 GB Video Card: nVidia 8600 GT or ATI/AMD 3850 Video Memory: 256MB Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 DirectX: 9.0c Storage: 4 GB Internet connection required. RECOMMENDED (over above minimums): CPU: 3.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or 3.0 GHz AMD Athlon II x2 or better Memory: 4 GB+ Video Card: nVidia 250 GTS or ATI/AMD 4870 or better Video Memory: 512MB+ Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista 64bit, Windows 7 64bit Storage: 4 GB+ Notes: 1 – 2008 C++ Runtimes SP1 required (included with installer). 2 – rFactor 2 executable is 32bit. 64bit OS recommended above to allow more than 4GB RAM. INSTALLATION: Step 1: Download the rFactor 2 installer – NOT YET POSTED. (482MB) Step 2: Install rFactor 2 onto your PC. The recommended paths and options will already be selected for you during the installation, and a shortcut should be placed on your desktop. You may need to click Yes on a User Account Control message if you are using Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows 7. Notes: There are TWO paths you are asked about during installation: Core and Data. The Core holds the simulations basic files, while the Data holds the large car/track files, replays, screenshots and your player information. Step 2 - Running rFactor 2 Installer. PURCHASE: Step 3: Run the rFactor 2 shortcut. This will open the rFactor 2 ‘launcher’. Step 4: Navigate to the Purchase tab in the launcher. Step 4/4a - Buying a new rFactor 2 license. Step 4a: Click Next beside Buy License in the launcher window. Step 4b: Click Next beside the type of rFactor 2 online access you would like to purchase: Buy rFactor 2 – 12 months of free access to the online matchmaker and other services. Every 12 months a further payment is required. Buy rFactor 2 with Lifetime Online Membership – Free access to the online matchmaker and other services for the lifetime of the rFactor 2 product. Step 4c: Enter your details and ensure they are accurate. Email addresses should be lowercase. Step 4d: Make a note of the email/password you entered. Step 4e: Complete the CAPTCHA words on the right of the form and click Create Account. Step 4c/4d/4e - Enter your new account details. Step 4f (optional): If you have a coupon of any kind, enter it into the labelled box and click Apply. You should see the initial price has altered accordingly. Coupon is not case sensitive. Dashes are required. Step 4g: Select your payment type, either Moneybookers or PayPal. Both services can accept most major forms of payment. Click Buy beside your choice and complete the transaction using their forms. Step 4h: Make a note of your Invoice Number/Order Number displayed on the Confirmation. OPERATION: Step 5: Click the Simulate tab on the launcher. You should notice that the three main options of Single Player, Online Race and Developer. Step 6: Click the grey Login button in the center of the launcher and enter your email and password as noted from when you created your account in lowercase letters. Step 7: All three main options of Single Player, Online Race and Developer should now be in full color. Before you select one, click the Configure Sim button towards the bottom-right of the launcher. Step 5/6/7/9 - Simulate tab. Step 8: Select the resolution you wish to use. We recommend using the native resolution of your monitor, this is usually the resolution Microsoft Windows is using for your desktop. Select your other options and click OK. Step 9: You may now select to either run Single Player, Online Race or Developer by clicking the images in the launcher. You can also select Host at the bottom-right of the launcher if you wish to do that. Single Player – Exactly what it says. You will be able to run practices alone, or may race against the computer cars (A.I.) Online Race – You will be able to run a practice, qualifying or race session with other human beings and A.I. over an internet or network connection. Developer – Runs a ‘sandbox’ executable which allows some changes to be made while the software is running. Primarily for mod-makers. UPDATING RFACTOR2: You may want to check your version of rFactor 2 is up-to-date. To do this, click the Update tab in the launcher, click Check For Updates and if an update is found, click to Download it. When the download is complete, click to Install the update. You can also repeat this to check if there is a further update. INSTALLING CARS/TRACKS: Simply drop the RFMOD file you have downloaded into the Packages directory and then use either Option 1 (outside of the software) or Option 2 (inside the software) to install it. Notes: By default, the packages directory is located at /My Documents/rFactor2/Packages/ and you may wish to include the /My Documents/rFactor2/ directory in your regular backup schedule. Option 1: You may want to configure which content RFMOD packages (cars and tracks) are active before you launch rFactor 2 for the first time. To do this, click the Manage Mods button at the bottom-right of the Simulate tab on the launcher. A new window will open and it will automatically read your packages directory for RFMOD files. Right-click on any mod in this window to see options available to you. Option 2: Launch rFactor 2 into single or multiplayer and you will see either a series option (single player) or mod management option (multiplayer). The software will automatically read your packages directory for available mods, and you can click install or update right inside the software. PRODUCT SUPPORT: If you have any issues running rFactor 2 during it’s open beta phase please post in our forum where both staff and other members of the community can help you. GUIDA IN ITALIANO by Lucignolo INSTALLAZIONE: 1. Scaricare il setup di rFactor 2 – ANCORA NON DISPONIBILE (428Mb). 2. Installate rFactor 2 nel vostro PC. Saranno già selezionati, varie opzioni tra cui il percorso d’installazione e la creazione di un’icona sul desktop. Su Windows Vista o Seven, potrebbe essere necessario cliccare su “SI“, per il controllo “Account” che svolge l’OS. Durante l’installazione saranno richiesti DUE percorsi d’installazione: Principale (Core) e Dati; Nel “Principale” verranno collocati i files base della simulazione, mentre in “Dati” verranno inseriti tutti i files riguardanti le MOD, replay, screenshots e le informazioni del giocatore. ACQUISTO: 3. Avviate rFactor 2 tramite l’icona. Così facendo si aprirà il “Launcher”. 4. Andate e selezionate “Acquisto” (Purchase) nella scheda del “Launcher” . 4a: Nella finestra “Acquista Licenza” (Buy Licence), cliccate su “Avanti” (Next). 4b: Cliccate “Avanti” (Next) sul tipo di licenza di rFactor 2 che volete acquistare. Acquista rFactor 2 – I primi 12 mesi dei servizi online sono FREE, poi è richiesta una quota OGNI 12 mesi Acquista rFactor 2 con online a vita – Accesso “gratuito” (SOLO con questo tipo di account) all’online di rFactor 2 4c: Inserire i propri dati; importante, l’email va scritta in minuscolo. 4d: Prendete nota della password e dell’email da voi scelte. 4e: Completate la procedura inserendo il codice CAPTCHA e cliccate su “Creare Account” (Create Account). 4f (opzionale): Se avete un “coupon” di qualche tipo, entrate nella casella e cliccate su “Applica“. Il prezzo iniziale cambierà di conseguenza. I trattini sono obbligatori . 4g: Selezionate ora il tipo di pagamento che volete eseguire, “Moneybookers” o “Paypal” . Entrambi i servizi vanno bene. Cliccare su “Acquista” (Buy) per completare l’operazione. 4h: Prendete nota del Numero d’ordine/Numero di fattura, che verrà visualizzato dopo la conferma d’acquisto. FUNZIONAMENTO: 5: Cliccate su “Simulate” nella schermata principale. Qui vedrete: “Single Player”, “Online Race” e “Developer” . 6: Cliccate sul pulsante grigio al centro, con su scritto “Login” ed inserite la vostra email e password scelte al momento della registrazione (e che dovreste aver annotato). 7: Tutte e TRE le opzioni (Single player, Online race e Developer) adesso dovrebbero essere a “colori”, però prima di selezionarne uno, cliccate su: “Configure Sim” che trovate in basso a destra nella finestra di rFactor 2. 8: Selezionare la risoluzione che desiderate. Noi raccomandiamo di usare la risoluzione nativa del monitor, che solitamente è quella usata da Windows sul vostro desktop. Seleziona le altre opzioni e infine premi su OK. 9: Adesso è possibile scegliere se usare la modalità “Single player“, “Online Race” o “Developer“. Inoltre potrete selezionare “HOST” in basso a destra nella finestra di rFactor 2, se desiderate farlo. Single Player – Esattamente quello che dice il nome, qua potrete gareggiare da soli o contro le auto controllate dal computer (IA) Online Race – Qua potrete fare gare, pratiche e qualifiche contro altri piloti reali o controllati dalla A.I. , tramite una connessione Internet o di rete. Developer – Lancia un esecutibile “sandbox” che permette di apportare alcune modifiche con il software in esecuzione. Raccomandato per i “Mod-makers” . AGGIORNAMENTO RFACTOR 2: Si consiglia di controllare se la versione di rFactor 2 è aggiornata. Quindi cliccate sulla scheda di “Aggiornamento” (Update), nel “Launcher” di rFactor 2, cliccate su “Controlla aggiornamenti” (Check for updates) e se viene trovato un aggiornamento, cliccate per scaricarlo. Terminato il download, installatelo. Pptete ripetere tutto il procedimento per verificare che abbiate effettivamente aggiornato rFactor 2. INSTALLAZIONE AUTO/PISTE: Basterà trascinare il file “RFMOD” che avete scaricato, nella cartella “Packages” e successivamente utilizzare l’opzione 1 (fuori del software) o l’opzione 2 (all’interno del software) per installarlo. Notes: L’impostazione predefinità per l’installazione dei contenuti (MOD e altro), si trova in “My Documents/rFactor2/Packages/ e quindi si potrebbe voler includere il percorso “My Documents/rFactor2/” nei backup programmati Opzione 1: Si consiglia di configurare i pacchetti “RFMOD” prima di avviare rFactor 2 la prima volta. Per far questo, fare clic sul pulsante “Gestione Mod” (Manage Mods) in basso a destra della scheda “Simulare” (Simulate) n el programma di avvio. Una finestra si aprirà e partirà automaticamente la lettura della tua directory e del paccheto RFMOD. In questa finestre con il tasto destro del mouse su qualsiasi MOD, visualizzerete le varie opzioni a disposizione. Opzione 2: Avviate rFActor 2 in Single player o Multiplayer e vedrete una seri di opzioni o per il “Single player” o per la gestione dei mod (Multiplayer). Il software automaticamente leggerà i pacchetti contenuti nella directory per i mod disponibili, quindi sarà possibile fare clic per installare o agiornare direttamente dall’interno del software. SUPPORTO TECNICO: Se avete qualsiasi tipo di problema durante la beta, contattateci sul nostro forum . Riattivazione: le tre modalità principali sono grigie Se avete completato l'acquisto e avete per sbaglio cancellato la cartella UserData, la tua installazione potrebbe diventare invalidata. Nella maggioranza dei casi (se avete una licenza) il fix è: 1) aprite il launcher 2) andate alla tab Purchase 3) Cliccate su Reactivate 4) fate il login così facendo i files User saranno ricreati e avrete accesso a single player e dev mod. Per attivare la modalità online fate il login nella modalità multiplayer (Simulate tab, bottone grigio al centro). Aggiungo che per acquisti con paypal e con carta di credito l'attivazione dovrebbe essere istantanea, ma per acquisti tramite bonifico bancario credo che sarà necessario attendere che la transazione sia conclusa (circa due o tre giorni) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anche io nn riesco a capire,poichè parliamo di una beta,si fanno molti problemi. Di solito giochi definiti terminati,dopo 2 giorni escono le patch x risolvere i problemi che si presentano. Iarno Posted January 9, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 Mettiamola così, tra le due dipende solo ed esclusivamente dalla tua disponibilita "econimica" per la prima non sono 12 mesi ma sono 18 perchè se compri la open beta hai 6 mesi aggiuntivi. non c'è nessuna dufferenza di contenuti tra le 2 opzioni. per l'altra domanda invece, da quel che ho letto e si vede nelle foto rFactor 2 ha la possibilità di inserire oltre al nome e cognome il nick, e come il primo credo si possa cambiare a piacimento. La risposta: Ora non credo, quindi mettete il vostro nick preferito. In futuro dipende da cosa deciderà Gjon, io mi auguro di si. Quello che è certo che nel gioco verrà visualizzato quello che scrivi nelle voci Nome e Cognome. P.S....non so voi ma a me mi si sta consumando il tasto F5!!
